Take The Challenge

Greetings from Colorado!  It’s snowing outside right now and it’s so beautiful!

This season is one of thankfulness and giving!  It’s an amazing time of year, but I want it to be even more amazing in your lives.  I have found in every situation, if I can help someone to experience the Love of God, they will see great changes in their lives.  It says in I John 4:19, in The Message, “First we were loved, now we love.  He loved us first.”  God’s love is the most amazing gift we have ever been given, but how often do we spend time simply meditation on that love?

As much as I want all of us to be thankful, giving people, I’m going to issue a challenge to you today that may seem a bit selfish.  My challenge is this.  I want you to to spend 10 minutes a day every day for the month of December meditating on how much God loves you!  Seriously, sit with your tea, coffee or whatever, and go over in your mind how much He loves you, and how many ways He shows you!  Whether you think about Jesus loving you so much that He died for your sins or the beauty God created around you, just focus on His love!

I’m going to be doing this with you!   I know that if we will let our precious Lord love on us this season, we will be more loving, more giving, and more thankful, (not as selfish as it seems).

So beginning December 1st, morning, noon, or night it doesn’t matter, take 10 minutes and think on how much God loves you!  There’s one more thing, please let me know if you are going to accept the challenge.  I want to hear from you about what’s happening as you make time for God’s love in your life.  Please write and tell me what wonderful things are happening in your heart as you experience His great love!  I will posting some of your stories on the website!

May this be the best Christmas you’ve ever had, wrapped warmly in the Love of God!
